Blackboard Collaborate Ultra (BbC Ultra)

1 What is Blackboard Collaborate Ultra (BbC Ultra)

Blackboard Collaborate Ultra (BbC Ultra) is a real-time video conferencing tool that lets you add files, share applications, and use a virtual whiteboard to interact.

BbC Ultra experience opens right in your browser, so you don't have to install any software to join a session. So students only need to click on a link to access a session.

For the best experience participants need a web-cam and a headset, and use Chrome as the browser

Why Use BbC Ultra?

  • host virtual office hours, group study sessions, web-based tutoring
  • host virtual committee meetings
  • Deliver online lectures
  • invite remote students, other faculty members, and/or guest speakers into your classes
